Basic Leadership and Supervisory Workshop

One of the key feature of the training activity was that it was based on our context and the need of our pax: leadership, supervision and specific tools on documenting supervisor-supervisee meetings, coaching/ mentoring.

Another excellent feature of the design was the journal: where we write our learning and immediate actions that we can apply on the job. This became the basis of our supervisory plan for each staff under our supervision and also as my future tool/basis for following up with Supervisors.

Another great feature of the program are the relevant games, simulation exercises, and workshop activities…actually the whole workshop design; also its simplicity so that we were able to replicate the training to our future supervisors, our Program Officers, conducted during the first week of July by our training team.

Finally, the width and depth of knowledge of the main facilitator, Edwin, is remarkable; able to inject more knowledge and information when the situation demands. So while the duration of the training was trimmed to 2 days instead of 3, the participants were still able to get additional information.”
